I love this recipe...
My signature dish, or rather, the dish that I'll make whenever I have
to bring something, is actually a cake. I got this recipe from my
mother-in-law. It's incredibly easy to make and is so good. It's moist
and incredibly flavorable -- the vermouth and nutmeg are quite the
combination
Wine Cake
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 package vanilla instant pudding (3.3 oz)
- 3/4 cup sweet vermouth
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
Mix all the ingredients into a large bowl. Pour into cake pan. Bake
in angel cake pan or bundt for 50-60 minutes at 325 degrees. After
cooled, sift powdered sugar on top.
