Vox Hunt: Miniscule!

Comments

I have to admit, at first I thought: donuts? what's the deal here? Then: holy smokes! Those are some tiny little donuts.
Wow. Having something there to show scale makes all the difference.

Amazing!
mmmmm..forbidden tiny donut.
those are amazing, you must have incredible fine-motor skills, I don't think I could even approximate a paw-sized donut...
whoa man - those thangs are tiny.

Those are the cutest itsy bitsy doughnuts I've ever seen!

Mena, hello and I didn't know you were a nanobaker! I was inspired by these and just posted about miniature donuts, too.

You made those!!! I am soooo impressed. You must have the patience of a saint.

This reminded me of the exploits of an online friend of mine who made a totally edible teeny tiny burger and fries! Food is so much more fun when it's small. :)

Oh, goodness. Here I am on Mena's blog, totally misusing Vox. That link should be here, my apologies!

Stop! They're so cute, but while they still looked normal size, I wanted to eat one. They actually looked edible, but what are they made of?
That's the biggest coin I've ever seen!
It must be very heavy! Strong arms!
Well done!
I love the hand-crafted box that they're resting in.... it just adds to the charm. ;^)

Love your banner too!

These are cool as hell! I love little mini versions of things, those itty bitty donuts are so freaking cute!

i would eat 85 of these for breakfast every day and then 24 more with my noon whiskey if you opened up a teeny tiny donut shop near my house. would you? would you please?
I would looove trying my hand at something like that! I thrive on detail -- the tinier, the better! The book reviewers make it sound very doable too. Thanks for a nice and inspiring posting.

Those are the CUTEST things I have seen in a very long time (save for my own children - who are so darn cute that lilliputian donuts cannot compare) but thanks for the smile. SO cute! What are they made of? I made some mini-fruits from plastic-clay a few years ago and should have photographed them - a half-peeled banana, an orange and an apple with a bit out of it - really cute - and smaller than a penny, each of them. Now I wish I had photographed them.

xo,
L

That's so awesome...

And yeah, now I really want a donut. Yummy.
Good god! Was it really six years ago? I remember that! Man. I am OLD.

Mena -- I'm obsessed with miniature replica food (that you can eat). But this is so cute... But if that Boston cream tasted as good as it looks, its tinyness would break my heart.

Being a miniature man myself, I greatly appreciate food that doesn't mock my miniature stature.
